About me
The Irish fiction writer Margaret Wolfe Hungerford, once said, “Beauty is in the eye
of the beholder.” While that expression is oft used to describe human relationships, it’s just as applicable in describing our relationship with the world around us.
Even at a young age, I would see things a little differently; I'd notice the contrast of colors and textures of a scene, or notice details that most people may not have given a second look. I had wished I could show others what I've found fascinating, and after my first disposable camera, I was hooked. Photography has been my passion ever since.
Over time, I realized that I tend look at a given event or scene from three different perspectives, describe this way:
-
The man expressing his thoughts on the psychiatrist’s couch
-
The psychiatrist, digesting the man’s thoughts
-
The third party who sees the interaction between them, in the full context of the setting.
With each perspective, beauty often reveals itself in new and unusual ways... And I would try my best to be there when it reveals itself.
